Design excellence competition winning proposal

The site is located opposite Parramatta train station. The complex intersection train tracks inform the façade sunshading pattern and a public square is provided at the end of the building. The curved form minimises overshadowing to the public square and produces a fluid movement of form in response to it’s location opposite the transport interchange.
